ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
NHCORR has an opening for an energetic and creative individual interested in joining a grassroots organization as an administrative assistant. This is a dynamic opportunity that offers a wide variety of skill set training. We are looking for someone to be the initial contact of the organization, to present a professional, welcoming and supportive presence to the people we serve and support the daily operations of NHCORR.
Job Description
Purpose: To support day-to-day operation of a small non-profit organization.
Responsibilities include:
1. Administrative Support, including but not limited to:

Answer phones, respond to emails, greet visitors

Purchase office supplies and keep storage room stocked and organized

Prepare for Board of Directors meetings

Maintain organizational files and documents
-
Serve as first point of contact for the organization
-
Manage databases
-
Perform general administrative support
2. Special Events
-
Coordinate NHCORR tabling at community events
-
Coordinate NHCORR Training sessions
-
Assist with coordination of event logistics
3. Communications
-
Assist with print and electronic newsletters
-
Coordinate website updates
-
Assist with member communications
-
Coordinate mass communications
-
Maintain organizational archives
4. Take on additional tasks as directed by the Executive Director
Qualifications:
-
Minimum two years related experience
-
Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and word processing
-
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to work as a team member with minimal supervision
-
Solid written and oral communication skills and excellent phone manners
-
Ability to develop effective work plans, organize details, set priorities, and meet deadlines
-
Interest in and commitment to NHCORR’s mission is helpful.
Reports to: Executive Director
Schedule: This is a 40 hour per week position, Monday through Friday during daytime hours. There is some flexibility in scheduling.
Compensation: Competitive salary, vacation and employer paid health insurance package.
